This month I have started following some amazing Instagram accounts! From a dude capturing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest to an account from one of my blogger buddies figuring out how to adult as a millennial. Also, we’ve got some exciting news. We’re joining a new team!
I’ll admit it. I’m obsessed with Instagram. Facts, there are around 4.5 kazillion Insta accounts and they’re all unique. What’s so interesting to me about Instagram is how it’s this running digital photo album. As embarassing as they can be sometimes, we can admit that going through a family member or friend’s photo album is usually the highlight of visiting their home. With Instagram you get that same experience without busting up into a stranger’s home. Just some good ole’ safe and not weird fun. I wanted to take some time to highlight some of my fave accounts because with there being so many amazing accounts you can’t be exposed to all of them.
@alohacrabs – Talented AF Photographer
Vincent Carabeo is a DOPE photographer based in Seattle, WA. I love his account because he just captures the Pacific Northwest in such a beautiful way and his color tone is just freaking goals! The mood of his account just makes me want to move to out west so I can visit the places he photographs, camp, and live in these colors. Another reason I’m shouting out his account is because his Insta Stories are very interesting. Vincent does 3D renderings for home design and a lot of his stories are behind the scenes shots of the projects he works on for his clients. So not only does he capture stunning photos, he can also design a mean living room!
@riceandrepeat – [healthy] Good Vibes Only
Seriously. Good vibes only with this chica’s account. With a last name like Rice, it’s only fitting to work that name into her cute Insta handle. Not only and I down with real life rice and repeat, I am certainly down with riceandrepeat as an Insta account. Carlie is a food, fitness, and health recipe lover. If you like bright and cheery photos, you’ll love this account too. Her healthy food photos will always get a like from me.
Todayyyyy is finally the day I've been talking about! I am sharing the story and officially introducing you all to Tucker 🐶 ! As you guys know, we recently moved and now have a new puppy… and while it's all been amazing changes that I am beyond grateful for… I cant help but drag my heels a little whenever change comes knocking at my door. So while you're meeting Tucker in the post, you'll also hear some of my tips for dealing with major life transitions 💗 So grab your Dunkin Donuts coffee and indulge with me (links in bio 👉 @theconfusedmillennial 👈) #DunkinDonutsPublix #pmedia #ad @publix
@theconfusedmillennial – Adulting’s Finest
Rachel is the bomb dot com. I love following her account because I feel like she’s that great friend that always has usable advice. This confused millennial is a business coach and her blog is filled with adulting life hacks for the everyday boss. She’s also one of those accounts that even though she has a lot of followers she interacts with her followers GENUINELY! Rachel just got a super adorable new puppy named Tucker. I mean, he’s literally the cutest. If you don’t follow Rachel because of her amazing content, you can at least follow for Tucker because he needs to know we love his little cute puppy face.
@kennedylazar – Miss Utah
Ok, so Kennedy isn’t the Miss USA Miss Utah but she could definitely win a beauty pageant. Super adorable. Once again, I love good vibe accounts and Kennedy fits in with that niche. She’s new to the blogging game and blogs mostly about fashion, lifestyle and travel. Kennedy makes Utah look pretty lit. She’s capturing life during her college years and it really makes me miss those times in my life. I plan to live vicariously through her account and weep as I have a quarter life crisis breakdown (send help).
@eatingb00ks – Donut Loving Bibliophile
If you like books, donuts, coffee, and embarrassed boyfriends you will love this account. I can honestly say that Eating Books is by far one of my favorite accounts I follow. Rebecca has this way of curating a feed that captures the deliciousness of food while mixing in the magic of literature. She has such a unique concept for a blog/Instagram account. I also love Eating Books most of all because her captions are great quotes. You won’t regret following Rebecca, she never has a dull post.
Eating Out Too Much has Paid Off
We are so happy to announce we are joining the Zipkick team as foodie influencers! If you’re not hip with Zipkick, it’s a dining recommendations app where trusted foodies post about places to eat all over the world. It’s like Yelp but without all of the riff raff. When you go to Zipkick, you’ll know that all of the listings are have been foodie approved. Zipkick has around 250 foodie influencers in their network but want to be at 3,000 by the end of the year! That means there are plenty of opportunities for you if you’re interested. Check out their website for more information. Even if you’re not interested in working with them, you can enjoy their #foodporn feed. However, I don’t recommend this if you’re on a diet. Daily photos of juicy burgers and sundaes piled mile high may lead you down the wrong path and I don’t want to have that on my conscience.
Here are some fun facts about us for you. 👩🏾👱🏻 💫We met through an online dating site. Shout out to @okcupid 💫 This is a photo from our first ever couples photoshoot. We didn't have a wedding so we never really felt the need to have one. But now I'm so happy we have these lovely photos courtesy of the lovely @cynthiajviola! 💫 Randy drinks his Americanos straight up, no milk or sugar (🙅🏽). 💫 I would drink bubble tea everyday if I could. #love #myhusband #hubby #beardgang #beardsofinstagram #afro #naturalista #interraciallove #thegramgang
